Development Farms

IBERS has development farms in Wales which are all part of the Development Farm programme of Farming Connect. The Development Farms are used to show farmers relevant research in progress. Open Days and group visits enable farmers to meet and talk with the scientists involved in the research. This interaction means that farmers have a clearer understanding of how research operates and scientists can become more aware of their customer's needs.
