Demonstration Farms

 

IBERS Grassland Development Centre works with Demonstration Farms across Wales to encourage the uptake of new technologies to benefit farm businesses. In collaboration with Organic Centre Wales, Hybu Cig Cymru, CALU, and the Dairy Development Centre the farms provide farmers with an opportunity to see the practical application of science. Regular meetings and open days allow people to see both the good and the bad aspects of different techniques, different crops and practices so they can make informed decisions about using them on their own farms.
