In addition the fertiliser value of muck and slurry and the importance of soil testing and having an integrated nutrient management plan will also be discussed.

The event will look at ways to manage muck and slurry storage and spreading more efficiently e.g. stopping water going into slurry pits; using umbilical spreading systems, with the aim of reducing labour, fertiliser bills and the environmental impact.
